Bond Connect Anniversary Summit 2025
Summit OVERVIEW
China’s economy remains resilient, serving as a beacon of stability for global investors seeking reliable opportunities in an ever-evolving world.
Themed "Unlocking Value through China's Resilience", the Bond Connect Anniversary Summit 2025 will take place on Tuesday, 8 July 2025. You will join regulators from Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, along with financial infrastructure services institutions, investors, and leading market participants for a deep-dive into emerging trends in China’s bond market, plus strategic views on China bond investing and the value of RMB assets in international portfolios.
With the introduction of Bond Connect and Swap Connect, international investors gain comprehensive access to the Chinese interbank bond market via Hong Kong. This development facilitates a wide range of transactions, including currency conversions, cash bond trading, and derivatives hedging. From 2025, offshore investors have been allowed to use China Government Bonds and Policy Bank Bonds held through Bond Connect as collateral for Northbound Swap Connect.
